Draper Open House

Today was the day that Chris and I were able to join the Whitchurch family in going to the Draper Open House! This is my 4th open house but actually walking through the Temple it is my 2nd. I was 4 years old when I went to the Portland Temple Open House so the Draper Temple Open House was a great refresher for me. I can't tell you how grateful I am for the opportunity we have to do work in the Temple. I am sealed to my husband for eternity because of the Temple, etc. and to have Temples spread throughout the valley is remarkable. It takes 10 minutes to drive and a look out the window for a view! How lucky I feel to have this experience that so many will never have the opportunity to experience and to be with the ones I love made it all the better!

Valentines Day!

This year Valentines landed on a Saturday which was perfect for Chris and I cause that meant no work and a day at the spa! Yep Chris and I decided to sleep in before getting a couples massage at 11:15am :0) We had a wonderful relaxing day followed by our massage with dinner and a chick flick! Chris and I have always been so good and supportive to each other with just about everything including movie picks. I love our relationship and the goodness it has! Today was not much different then any other day because Chris has always given me the impression that he loves me! Happy Valentines Day!

Back to a Brunet!~

After 6 full months of going blond to even blonder, I decided that I make a much better brunet. Not that I did not enjoy it for the experience of change but I love having darker hair!

I wanted to have a touch of red so I added more B then N at a level 4 so that when the sunlight hits this Spring, I will see more red in my hair mixed with the brown! Coloring my hair has been a really fun thing for me because it has been another activity that my husband and I can experience together! With my incredible skills I learned from Cosmetology school, I have been able to show Chris how to assist me with my color changes! I new he could handle it because he did such a great job foiling my hair and if he can foil my hair then he sure can lather my hair up with a solid color. With how blond it was, I wanted Chris to color it twice since I did not have a filler and it turned out great! I also did not want a totally solid look so I put three foils up front keeping a touch of blond that turned out great! I love it! It is a nice touch and easy to keep up without having to foil my whole head.

One thing you should know about Chris is that he LOVES change which worked out perfectly when I had my breakdown last July lol because I looked the same my whole life he he he!
