Candlelight Serenade Acoustic Festival!

Some perks to living right next to Thanksgiving Point is the walking distance to the large all day events there! Chris and I put on our roller blades, packed lunches in a bag and skated over to Thanksgiving Point to enjoy the Candlelight Serenade Acoustic Festival that lasted from 10am to 11pm! It was so nice to be able to come and go throughout the day even though we did spend most the day at the concert. This was a huge treat for me! I love music and loved sharing this day with Chris. As you can see, we were able to see lots of talented bands! Some of our favorites were Making April, Priscilla Ahn, Allred, Vedera and Neon Trees. Chris may want to add to this but all in all, it was very exhausting with the lack of hydration and being on our feet for 10 hours at a time! Although it was very cool getting up close and personal, I think I will be okay sitting on the grass next time so we don't have to worry about losing the front row spot.

One Whitchurch left @ HIT

Last Friday was Chris's last day working at HIT. Knowing that I would lose my carpool buddy of 2 years, I new it would be a harder day for me but then to my surprise, I couldn't help but to smile when I woke up to this message on our bathroom mirror! It helped so much! As happy as I am for Chris to move forward, I can't help but feel a little bit left behind :( It will take time for me to get used to not being with my husband 24/7...
