Cabin Getaway!!!

Need I say more!!! Chris, I and some neighbor friends took a much needed 3 day weekend to enjoy time up in the Mountains :) It was full of eating, board games, hot tubing, movie watching, snowmobiling, sledding, arcade games, pool playing, reading and lots of chatting! Chris and I feel so lucky to be apart of this neighborhood! We missed out on not having everyone their but really enjoyed the time to get to know the ones who could! Thank you Matt and Melissa for this opportunity! I think I can say that we all had a blast!!!

Grandma Wilson...

Chris' family had quit the scare when poor Grandma Wilson collapsed Saturday which caused her to fracture her back. She has 16 ulcers which caused a great amount of blood lose with the addition of anemia from the lack of food or liquid intake. So here she is hydrated and week at the Payson hospital. Chris and I along with so many family members on the Wilson side visited Grandma and Grandpa today. They are so loved and thought of by their posterity. We pray for them at this time that grandma will regain the health needed to return home. We love you!!!

Afterwords Chris and I also had the opportunity to stop at Chris' cousins place, Garrett and Shelby, before they moved up to Washington state. Shelby's family is up their and Garrett found a job up their so we wanted to say good bye and best wishes as they begin a new journey up in the great northwest.

Soldier Hollow!

This was our first activity we went to as the YSA representatives for our ward! It felt as if I went back in time as "one of them" and I have to say that I am so happy to not be in their shoes. I LOVE that I have my husband to come home to and spend all my time with! I was curious to see how I would feel, would I wish I could go back in time? It seemed Chris and I were more social and active when in the singles ward which Chris really loved. So I am happy to feel that I am more grateful to be where we are even though our social life is among ourselves most of the time! It was funny however to see Chris getting "hit on" by the girls! I chuckled to myself as I heard the flirting and to see that Chris was being polite and yet "wife, I have a wife" lol! I can't blame them, he is a hot and we had winter snow gloves covering our wedding rings!! We finished the night off feeling like it was a date haha!

Fun, Fun and more Fun!

It was a super exciting weekend! Chris and I were able to purchase a couple items for our home! Saturday we added a new piece to our bedroom set which was a "fun" need! We were out of space to put clothes so we purchased a dresser piece that fit so well under our t.v :) Thank you again Josh and Kacey for picking it up for us! It was a huge surprise for me as I did not think I would be able to have this for quit some time, but Chris wanted to do this for me!!!

I also saved up for some end tables that happened to find online that matched our coffee table which was purchased over a year ago! I couldn't believe that I came across them on clearance just as we did the coffee table way back when. So we picked them up today and Chris was so kind to put them together for me without having to ask :) He loves to take care of me as I do him, so I made him dinner haha while he put them together for me!

Yesterday, my brother Stan came in town to follow a missionary that ended his Portland Oregon mission. I joined Stan at this missionaries homecoming which I enjoyed! It's not often that I hear of experiences people have in my home town. I also loved being in the company of my brother! I then "snatched" him after the meeting to go up north to visit my older brother Tyrel! I really did have a lovely visit with Stan and Tyrel while we watched over baby Harli and little Ty while Jessi and her mother had to take care of the horses at the barn. I had not been alone with them in I don't know how long so it was good time to catch up on all that has gone on. I held Harli for 4 hours and soaked up EVERY minute of it :) I left wanting to have a family of my own! Someday it will be my turn I hope. :0)

GNO at Chili's

Here we are again! Chili's was a hot spot and it had been a month since we last got together with the big holiday's so we decided to come back. What made this night even bigger was the announcements made!!!! Yep, two more girls in the neighborhood are pregnant :) Congratulations Brooke and Amanda! I can't say in words how much I just LOVE our neighborhood! We have the most amazing and sweet girls. I couldn't be any luckier to live around so many wonderful people :) It really has been such a joy getting to know everyone a little bit more each time we have gotten together over the last 3 months that Chris and I have lived here! Time is flying by so quickly but I think now it will slow down a bit till Spring...

Happy New Year 2010!

Chris and I had a wonderful 3 days weekend! We spent it with the beautiful couple shown above :0) Chris and I wouldn't have it any other way! We love spending time with family so what better way to start the New Year than to be with loved ones! James was ending the 2 week stay at home which we LOVED as he did too I am sure ;)

Chris was so cute and purchased party hats and gadgets to blow in a etc. when it came time! We did not do anything special put it was fun none the less! We ate dinner together, played games, chatted and watched the ball drop in NY while watching a few performances by a few artists such as Rihanna and such.

The rest of the weekend was quit fun for me! It was just the two of us and yet we spent the time playing games in our bedroom while having a movie on in the background. I liked it because we really do not play games together all that often when we do not have other people over. It reminded me of how much I love just being together with my BEST friend :) I love Chris so so much and I love being together! I feel so lucky to start another new year at his side.
