Happy 1st Birthday Little Man!

As you can see above, my little nephew had no problem eating his own cake while ending with a smile! Our family LOVES and ADORES little Ty! He is a true blessing to us all. So here it is celebrating our first year of having this cute addition to the Wester family. Happy Birthday Ty :)

Department change :?

Big changes have happened at HIT which has caused the Updates department to move to the Design department. Yep! This means that Matt is no longer my manager which is sad because he was a really good manager! This also means that my husband is my supervisor now!!! I have to admit that I am a little nervous about this change. I was nervous about working together in the first place last Fall but then it turned out to be the best thing we could have done for ourselves but I was not sure if it worked out because we were in total different departments or if it is that Chris and I work really well with each other. So Chris and I agreed that if his management was damaging to our marriage then I could leave. Matt also informed me that I could come back in his department to work in Customer Service if it does not work out for us. So here we go, Chris is my Supervisor and my job description totally changed! Chris once had four Admins but then two went to Accounting and another was fired leaving one left. Her name is Leah and she replaced a previous Admin so she is fairly new herself so I needed to assist with the duties already in the Design department and the work load I had to bring over. Let's see how this goes.... whish me luck :?

A day at Momentum~

Chris and I spent our Saturday morning not sleeping in but waking up to Matt's call bright and early asking if we were on our way to Sandy to rock climb with them. To say the least, we had to jump out of bed and rush over to Momentum without getting ready! We did not want to pass up a afternoon of rock climbing with our friends who happen to get in free :) Matt and Sarah also brought another friend and it was way cool. Matt climbed up the wall with one hand AND in his slippers, then Sarah did some crack climbing a little bit while we tired ourselves out climbing and trying to work on our form. This was the first time Chris was able to try out his new rock climbing shoes as well :) It was a very fun day for Chris to use all his new climbing gear! We have loved getting to know both Matt and Sarah a little bit more each time we get together. This was our first time going with Sarah because it has always been Matt and or other friends from work but now that they are engaged we will be seeing a lot more of Sarah too!
