My rocker husband :)

I have to say that I have the most entertaining husband ever! I love him to death and he will always put a smile on my face :)

Mari flew into town to visit me and Chris which was so fun and special for me! She saved up her money buy doing yard work for the neighbors and washing cars etc. for a one way ticket since Jessi needed to drive out here to drop their car off at her mom's and then fly back to Oregon. We got her for two weekends! We spent our last night paying Rock Band2 and she is better then me ;) With all the practice I needed she just went at it as a natural just like Chris did! It took very little time before Chris moved right up to hard and attempting expert with some success on the guitar! I am still on medium but even that I need to warm up to it ha ha! So the three of us all took turns playing the drums and the guitar leaving out the singing, yikes! I had the most fun having her all to myself and I will have a hard time taking her to the airport in the morning with the hope to see her again very soon!

I had to put this up with the crazy fun times we had sporting Chris' wig that he pulled out to spice things up ;) What would I do without him! My life would be more boring that's for sure...

Last weekend with Mari :(

I have loved so much having my little sister with me and this time my friend Jennifer come up from Provo to see Mari since my family all loves her! Jessi and baby Ty were with us dropping Marz off for her last few days so Jennifer could also see how big Ty was getting! We played games for the rest of the night before they had to leave and then Mari and I finished the night with another chick flick or two ha ha! Saturday I took her up to Grandpa Mitchell's place to visit with him and Cindy and I was also able to put in some highlights that she was wanting to have so badly! I was happy to do it but made them very settle so that mom and dad would let her come back lol ;) I told my mom and she was worried Mari wouldn't want to come back home with all this attention! I thoroughly enjoyed her time and wanted to make it worth while for her with her hard work to earn the money! I couldn't of asked for a better friend to make treats and watch chick flicks with! What a joy it has been :)

Mari is in town!!!

This is the first weekend I got to have Mari with us and it is such a joy to see her :) Britt came with me to get her up in Ogden where Jessi is at her mom's place and then Britt stayed the night with us the last two nights and we had Annie on Friday night too which is so fun for Mari to not be in the other room by herself. The two clicked just like at our wedding and it is crazy to see how much they both have grown since then! We have had nothing but fun fun fun!

After the first night, I made home made waffles for the three girls and Chris before Annie and Britt went home to get ready for the day since it was already 11am. I guess that is what we get for staying up till 4 in the morning! Fran bought all of us girls movie tickets to see Bride Wars! Mari felt spoiled when her and I arrived to meet them there and they had a Oreo shake with a basket of fries waiting for her! We enjoyed the movie and then stopped by at the mall on the way back to hang out and window shop. She wanted some earrings so when we returned, I gave her a couple pair of my own! Mari also had the opportunity to go to the Draper Temple Open house which was special for me to talk to her a little about it. She finally saw the different rooms and she loved the bridal room! I hope she will continue to make it a goal to marry in the temple like her big sister. There is nothing more special then to be married to your husband for time and all eternity. We continued to watch more chick flicks! I would call it a chick flick marathon ha ha! We also went bowling and both Mari and my score was barely higher then Chris' so we got to get root beer floats as the winners lol!

Then when I had to go back to work on Monday, I dropped Mari and Britt off at the Whitchurch's to spend the day together. Fran took the girls to the pound since Fran wants to buy another dog soon. Mari plugged her nose the whole time ha ha and then Fran took them to get acrylics! Mari has never had nails before and she was returning right at basketball season so she will have to keep them filed down lol but she totally loved them! I give much thanks to Fran and the good person she is! I love her as another mother to me. Both our families get along great and that means so much to me! I feel so lucky to have such wonderful families!!!

Rock Band2 :)

It all started at work! Chris brought in our xbox to work as a motivator to his department. If they did well, they could play on the xbox! One of his in house designer's brought in Rock Band, Chris and I fell in love with it along with everyone else in the design department! Well, I at least thought it would be better then having the first person shooter explosions going off as background noise at home lol, the music is so much better! So Aaron went with Chris to pick up Rock Band2 for our PlayStation3 and it has been a huge hit for us and both sides of our families when they come over to our place!

James, Fran, Aaron, Britt and Annie all came over to our place after Sunday dinner with all the talk in how fun it is! Aaron has come over several times over the last week or two since they picked it up sometimes bringing a friend or two! I had so much fun having a full place with most of Chris' family. It is not often that they all come at once and if buying a game is all it takes then I am all for it ;) Annie was so incredible at the drums! Best I have seen yet. I also had to attach a couple pictures because James' face was priceless when he first played the drums!!! I love it!
