We started working on the basement just 4 months after closing on our home so we feel super lucky to be able to take this step. Here are some updated pictures of our basement after completing the framing, rough plumbing, electrical, HVAC and as of today...the city inspection!!! Chris and I are so excited about this and are happy to share that we are one step closer to completing our home! Yes we still have much more to go, not to mention our lawn that we will need to put in this Spring, I just keep telling myself one thing at a time! Chris is now looking into doing the next couple things ourselves such as the low voltage and insulation! Hopefully we will still be just as excited about it after we complete these next couple tasks :0)The first picture is the view coming down from upstairs. The full bathroom will be straight ahead and than Chris' office to the left of the bathroom. The next picture is the entry way to the future theater room which may take some time to complete lol, we like to dream ;0). After that is the extra room that we plan to have Chris' photography equipment for the current product photography he takes for work but all in all it is his domain for his hobby! Than last but not least... a picture of my future fireplace which is placed in our downstairs family room!!!
